Rural poverty approaches policies and strategies in Tajikistan



The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan adopted the National Development Strategy for 2006–2015. And its vision for reducing poverty among rural people is contained in the Poverty Reduction Strategy for 2007–2009. The government’s strategy is in accord with IFAD’s own strategic objectives, particularly those related to improved natural resource management, land reform and stronger grass-roots institutions.
